Silver Birches Resort is a lakefront resort situated by Lake Wallenpaupack in Hawley, Pennsylvania. You can see the view of Lake Wallenpaupack straight from a window of your room. You can also see the sunset over the lake straight from the lawn or straight from your room if you stay in the sunset room. Since it is located by the lake, you have an easy access to many water activities. Here, you can rent a boat, a kayak or a paddle board during the summer. While in the winter time when the lake usually freezes, you can do outdoor activities such as cross country skiing or snowshoeing. The Silver Birches Resort will also help you arrange a ski trip to Bear Creek Mountain.
Its idyllic location and its complimentary champagne toast at sunset make Silver Birches Resort a perfect place for a romantic getaway. Not to mention the Dock restaurant within the resort with outdoor sitting area overlooking Lake Wallenpaupack, it is perfect place for a romantic dinner. The amenities such as a recreation center, pool and lawn that is equipped with bonfires and lawn chairs will keep you entertained long after the sunset. Imagine sitting around the bonfire at night while roasting the marshmallow with a view of a lake in front of you. It is a kind of experience that you get when you go camping, except this time you do not need to rough it up. Just let Silver Birches Resort accommodate you while you enjoy the experience.

The cool thing about staying here is you can use all amenities in three other resorts/properties; The Settlers Inn, Ledges Hotel, and Hawley Silk Mill. All of these three properties including Silver Birches Resort are owned by the same owner. Another perk for being a guest at Silver Birches Resort is a gym membership to Lake Region Fitness during your stay. But, if going to a downtown for a gym sound so inconvenience to you, no worry. You can participate in their outdoor complimentary class such as outdoor yoga or stand up paddling in the summer or simply just swimming in the pool. I personally prefer the outdoor sport.

The reasons we chose this resort are its amenities and its location. Not only because it is right by the lake, but also all things that you can explore in surrounding area. There are many hiking and biking trails nearby. So if you love outdoor, this one is definitely for you. The good news is the Silver Birches Resort provides complimentary bikes for guests who want to bike during their stay. Another thing to do? You can also chase the waterfalls for free at nearby area.
