Valentine’s Day often involves dinner, flowers, chocolate, candy and jewelry. If you have been doing this year after year, then you need to step up your games (yes gentlemen, I’m talking to you). How about celebrating it in different way but equally romantic or even more romantic than just an overpriced dinner at the fancy restaurant.

So, If you live in  New Jersey or visiting the states during the valentines’ day weekend and still looking for the spot to woo your spouse or significant other, here are the list of the most romantic spots for Valentine’s day in New Jersey where you can celebrate your Valentine’s Day and have a memorable moment and probably also impress your date at the same time.

  1. The grounds for sculpture and rats restaurant

If you love art, strolling inside the grounds for sculpture while admiring the Monet inspired landscape and many unique and beautiful sculptures surely will enhance your love. Not to mention if you end the day by having French dinner at Rats restaurant which located next to the grounds for sculpture overlooking the ground that look like a replica of the famous Monet’s painting “the water lilies”. This is by far one of most romantic spots for Valentine’s day in New Jersey. For hours and events, check this link.

2. Valentine’s Plunge, Manasquan Beach

This one is definitely for slightly adventurous soul. Nothing say bonding like sharing an adventurous moment together. Imagine, jumping into the cold ocean in your best swimsuit. Who say you can’t be sexy in February?

3. Newport Skate Park in Jersey city

Located in Newport area of Jersey City, this outdoor ice skating rink looks really neat surrounded by skyscrapers. What scream romance louder than two lovebirds holding hand in hand while skating around the ice skating rink? Serendipity anyone?

4. Spa day in Atlantic City

Every girl loves to be pampered. Whether you just buy the spa pass or book a treatment such as massage and facial, having a spa day is every girl’s wish. Most four star hotels in Atlantic City have a nice spa with complete amenities from relaxation room to the steam room. Based on my experience,  Golden Nugget Hotel and Spa  is definitely one of most romantic spots for Valentine’s day in New Jersey.  So if you want to impress her, this can be your chance to shine like a knight in shining armor.

5. Party cruise

All party animals out there will love this idea. Unlimited drink and food while you are dancing to your favorite tune. You will be cruising along between two states of New Jersey and New York, passing the statue of liberty and Manhattan. The cruise usually leaves from a marina in Weehawken.

I think the golden nugget is one of the nicest resorts in Atlantic City. I am sure the spa service is great there
